Interior decoration of a new build apartment

Minako Bryson worked as freelance designer for NSDA London

This large three-bedroom apartment was created by combining two new build apartments that the clients bought to accommodate their growing family.

After some reconfiguring of spaces to make the two apartments into one cohesive apartment, NSDA were confronted with an anonymous white box. The clients wanted a warm and rich atmosphere which worked for both family living and for entertaining guests.

By combining the client’s existing furniture with a carefully developed colour palette, hand painted wallpapers, statement light fittings and furnishing accessories NSDA created an eclectic and dramatic interior. To complete the design, artworks were commissioned to add focus and interest to the spaces. 

Minako has contributed to the following roles as a chief assistant interior designer including:

• Working to build a design concept and visualizing the concept into a presentation
• Creating a scope of works
• Sourcing materials and furniture for hallway, reception/dining room, main bedroom, boys bedroom and guest bedroom
• Creating FF+E schedules
• Processing orders to suppliers and monitoring delivery schedules
• Liaising with clients and other professional teams
• Finishing touches and photo shoot
